Everyone writes "verified data". The useful question is elsewhere: what happens when an address turns out to be bad anyway?
Refunded, and removed from the database
If our check proves that an address you just unlocked does not exist, your sestaro is returned automatically. There is nothing to claim.
And the record leaves the database, so nobody pays for it after you. That is the half that matters: it guarantees we have no interest in keeping rubbish on the shelf. A credit-based vendor that keeps dead addresses resells them forever.
Each one only fires if the previous one could not decide. That is what makes the chain both safer and cheaper than a single engine.
The in-house check, free and immediate
Syntax, a domain actually able to receive mail, disposable addresses, generic addresses. It settles the obvious invalids before a single credit is spent, and it applies to every account, free ones included.

When the first engine cannot decide, a second one takes over, from a different IP address and at a different time. The union of the two covers more than either alone.

Every address carries its verdict in plain words: confirmed mailbox, invalid address, domain with no mail server, disposable address, domain that accepts everything, or a case left undecided. You know where you stand before writing, and what is uncertain is called uncertain rather than dressed up.
