Emailing

Write to your prospects from the tool that found them

Campaigns, follow-ups, replies and statistics live in your account, the free account included. Every message leaves through your own sending server, under your domain, and the reputation you build stays with you.

Senders

You plug in the server you already use. Sestaro puts it to the test before saving it.

Gmail in one click

The "Connect Gmail" button asks Google for a single permission, the right to send. Sestaro does not read your mail, deletes nothing in it and never sees your contacts. Access is withdrawn in one click, on our side as on Google's.

Your host's SMTP server

You enter the host and the login. Encryption (STARTTLS or SSL/TLS) is detected when you save, and the login is tried straight away, so a refused authentication is never saved. A server that only speaks plain text is accepted only if you choose that yourself.

Your own Amazon SES

With your AWS keys, Sestaro queries your SES account as soon as you save it and reads its state, production or sandbox, its 24-hour quota and its per-second rate. An account still in the sandbox is flagged in red before your prospects get refused one by one.

Several servers in one account

Add as many SMTP and Amazon SES servers as you need, keep one as the default, and let each sending address pick its own. An address whose server is incomplete never slips out through another one, and the screen says what is missing.

Prove your domain without leaving the screen

A sending address is either the mailbox you connected or an address on a domain you have proved you own. The proof fits in a three-step window: you publish the DNS records, Sestaro checks that they answer, then a test message goes out.

Every host and every value copies in one click, with help for Cloudflare, OVHcloud and GoDaddy. The Senders page then shows, address by address, the state read by the sending code, today's cap against the provider's limit, the bounce and reply rates, and a single button to fix whatever is stuck.

Campaigns

A first message, follow-ups, and rules that decide who gets what, and when.

A follow-up only leaves when it has a reason

Each step has its delay and can set a condition on the previous one: not opened, not clicked, did not visit your site, did not reply. When a contact replies, their follow-ups stop.

A campaign that follows its list

Add a list to a campaign and the campaign follows it. A contact added to the list later, by an import, a save from the search or a verification, is enrolled without you having to think about it again.

An A/B test on every step

Up to three variants of the subject and the body. Contacts are split evenly, always the same way for the same person, and each variant has its own results. No winner is picked for you: you read the figures and you choose.

A calendar on top of delays

A campaign's start is scheduled for the day and time you want, in its time zone. A step can land on a fixed date, the day before a webinar or the last day of an offer. Freeze periods protect a holiday or a trade show, on the whole account or a single campaign, and the Agenda shows the next seven days with the ramp-up cap alongside.

Each message for its recipient

First name, company, job title and city fill in from the record, with a fallback word when the value is missing. Six free fields, A to F, hold whatever else you know about each person, pasted from a spreadsheet next to their address.

Messages

Three themes to choose from, and a check before every send.

Light, Dark or Personal letter

The templates exist in all three themes. Personal letter is made for cold outreach and looks like an email written by hand, with no banner and no colour card, one column of text, your signature and the legal footer. The question that ends your message turns semi-bold, and a button only appears if you finish on a link alone on its line.

Formatting you type on the keyboard

Words between two pairs of asterisks come out bold, a line opened by two hash signs becomes a heading, and your account's signature closes the message. Every email leaves as HTML with its text version, derived from the HTML actually sent, for mail clients that only show text.

The spam score while you type

The message gets a score from 0 to 100 as you type, a verdict (Good, Watch or At risk) and its reasons in plain words. The test send goes through your own server and writes nothing into your statistics.

Replies

Replies come back into Sestaro

Connect the IMAP mailbox of each sending address. Sestaro checks it every five minutes, without changing anything in it, and files each reply under its campaign and its contact. A real reply stops that person's follow-ups, while an out-of-office message is recognised and stops nothing.

You answer from Sestaro, in the same thread, through the server of the address that received the reply. Views sort what is waiting for you, and two of them show the messages already sent and those still scheduled. A reply can be forwarded to another address, and a "please stop writing" joins your suppression list in one click.

Measurement

An overview, day by day

Sends, opens, clicks, replies and bounces read over the day, seven days, thirty days, the current month, last month or the dates you pick, compared with the previous period.

Robots are not counted

Apple Mail Privacy Protection and the Gmail image proxy do not pass for readers, and clicks from security scanners that test every link are set aside. A campaign report reads contact by contact and exports to CSV.

Everything on this page is included in the free account. Only the contacts you unlock from the database use sestaros.
